Storytellers
Nathan Bach | Chief Storyteller
Nathan Bach is a filmmaker, photographer, storyteller, and creative entrepreneur who has spent the past 15 years helping brands, nonprofits, and visionaries bring their stories to life. As the founder of Calico Sonder, he blends documentary-style authenticity with cinematic craft, producing films and narratives that spark connection and lasting impact for audiences.
From working with globally-recognized brands to shaping narratives for growing companies, Nathan’s work sits at the intersection of purpose and artistry. His creative philosophy is rooted in both nostalgia and innovation. Whether he’s making films, producing podcasts, mentoring young creatives, or guiding organizations through transformative storytelling, Nathan takes an all-encompassing approach to each and every story he tells.
At the heart of it all, Nathan believes storytelling is a legacy act: a way of archiving who we are, where we come from, and where we’re going.
Jasón Sosa | Jr. Storyteller
Jasón Sosa is a filmmaker and storyteller from Nacajuca, Mexico, whose creative journey began with a Mass Communications degree in 2018 and quickly grew into a career as a LatAm-based freelance storyteller. He and Nathan first connected while on assignment in Mexico in 2019, sparking a deep friendship and creative partnership that continues to shape Calico Sonder’s work today.
As a Jr. Storyteller, Jasón serves as an international correspondent and director of photography across Latin American projects, while also supporting the post-production process as an assistant editor. His “Swiss army knife” skill set is matched by his empathetic nature, cultural curiosity, and astute attention to detail—qualities that bring both care and craft to every story he helps tell.
Rooted in a Latin American–inspired style, Jasón brings a perspective that bridges cultures and elevates narratives. He sees Calico Sonder as part of a new age of storytelling, one that connects worlds through beautifully executed collaborations. Looking ahead, Jasón hopes to continue refining his creative eye while mentoring the next generation of storytellers under the C.S. umbrella.
